How to give your wedding a classic vintage appeal?

Give your wedding a rustic and epoch feel by planning a classic vintage themed wedding or reception party. Sober yet classic, vintage theme wedding has been a popular choice among couples for a long time, and still continues to be. This theme still holds a hands-on popularity and is considered to be the best choice by many. Vintage wedding themes add a touch of sophistication and culture that is intricately displayed by a beautiful set up of small designer objects like a cake stand, chandeliers, flower arrangements, crockery etc. Vintage wedding is a never-to-die theme!

1.  Vintage car:

Vintage cars have a rustic and traditional appeal and take you back to an era of style and culture. Take your bride to her new house in a vintage car decorated with a classic combination of flower arrangements. If you wish to consider a quirkier idea, then you can elope with your bride, after the wedding, on a vintage scooter. Go back to the olden times and get the best and innovative possible means of transportation to surprise your bride.

2.  Flower arrangements:

Decorate your wedding hall with flower arrangements done in vintage vases or containers. You can consider arranging them in old trophies or glass bottles. Come up with an idea of your own and get started!

3.  Crockery:

Treat your guests to some yummy food with vintage-styled crockery. Right from intricately designed plates to antique spoons and forks, make table arrangements in a manner that it takes your guests back to the previous era and live it too.
You can have the bar arranged with old styled wine and champagne bottles to enhance the ambiance even more. Place the bottles in rustic crates, made of wood, of the old style. You can use glasses that have a bucolic look to add up to the theme.

4.  Oil lamps and lighting:

Brighten up the whole surrounding by lighting oil lamps on various sizes and shapes. You can also make arrangements for old tins to be used as candle stands. If that makes for a lot of endeavor for you, then you can consider vintage-styled chandeliers to make the hall look classic and period.

5.  Welcome Stands:

Get a vintage writing board from a shop and get it decorated with your names on it. You can attach flowers on it in a classic and epoch style. Place it on a rustic, antique stand and use a classic old styled welcome message.

6.  Photo Areas:

Create a vintage photo area for your friends and relatives and let them take back some vintage-styled memories of their own. You can place some antique see-through photo frames, chairs, old styled horse carriages, umbrellas, etc. Try creating a section, which will take you back to the stylish old era. You can also consider mentioning your guests, in advance, to dress up in vintage styled clothes. This will certainly add up to the whole concept.
